We met at the start of summer of 2017! We have been good friends ever since, but grew very close in 2020 and through 2021. In 2021, we met in person, along with other friends. We went to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH on a friends trip, and while there we rode Millenium Force alone. That alone time allowed us to "click" and by the time we all went our separate ways, us two were already planning when we would see each other again!

Dylan traveled to Ohio, alone this time, a month later. We officially became a couple on August 29, 2021. From August 2021 to May of 2022, we were long distance. It was incredibly hard and stressful, but we knew that we were dedicated to one another and were already making plans regarding our future.

In May of 2022, Dylan was able to move up to Toledo, OH from West Liberty, KY for work. Being able to see one another everyday was a huge blessing and we never took the time we had together for granted. Our relationship was able to grow stronger and we have been on so many adventures together!

Dylan proposed at the Glass City Metropark overlooking the Maumee River on February 14, 2023. It was a cold and rainy night by the time we got to the top of the building. Dylan had gifted a pair of earrings that were intended to throw me off (it worked).

Dylan asked my father for his blessing to propose to me earlier in the day while we both worked on our Valentine's day plans. My father of course said yes! The picture attached to this story is from the night we got engaged... he hadn't proposed yet!

Then, he got down on one knee, and now here we are planning out our forever together!
